Today brings the official announcement (and trailer) for the upcoming home entertainment release of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 which will also mark Disney's first endeavor into 4K releases, meaning you'll be able to watch it in stunning quality. Come inside for all the details!
Since the credits rolled on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 in theaters, I've been eager to get my hands on the blu-ray release so I can pour over it again and again in the comfort of my own home. Today, we have some official information on when that will happen. August 22, 2017 is when the latest Marvel film will arrive on DVD, Blu-Ray, and 4K (but will arrive digitally August 8th if you can't wait).
This marks the first ever release from Disney in the latest high-resolution format, which could signal the floodgates are about to open at the house of Mouse for all upcoming releases...which would include Star Wars.
