Star Wars: The Last Jedi Blu-Ray/4K Officially Announced

Rumors and leaks had seemingly revealed when fans could expect to be able to bring home Star Wars: The Last Jedi on blu-ray, but this morning gives us the official announcement that it’s coming on March 27th (with the digial version arriving a couple weeks earlier on March 13th).  Not only are we getting it on blu-ray, but this will be the first Star Wars film to ever launch on 4K!  Hopefully this means the rest of the Star Wars films will be making the jump to the Ultra HD format before too long. 

Anyway, there’s oodles of good bonus content coming with the release, including a director’s commentary (thankfully we won’t have to wiat on a second release for that like we did with Force Awakens).  Check out the full list of features below:

Johnson also reveals two exclusive scenes, featuring Andy Serkis as Snoke prior to his digital makeover, as well as 14 never-before-seen deleted scenes, in addition to his audio commentary.
