Hans Zimmer Says He's Scoring Batman vs. Superman

Hans Zimmer is a pretty hot commodity right now in terms of musical composition, being attached to a number of high profile film projects; most recently The Amazing Spider-Man 2.  He's behind all of Christopher Nolan's Batman films, and Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, so many assumed he'd be returning to score Batman vs. Superman.  In a recent interview, Zimmer all but confirms he's returning and expresses his fears about coming up with a new theme for the caped crusader.

Catch a Glimpse of Splinter in the MTV Movie Awards Footage for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Say what you will about MTV, or the validity of it's Movie Awards show, but it's hard to deny that they get one thing right: the spectacle.  the MTV Movie Awards is a celebration of movies and there are certain aspects of that show I've been dying for the Oscars to pick up.  Namely, studios use it as a platform to showcase their upcoming films with new footage.  Last night was no different, and Paramount released a TV spot for Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles with all new footage and our first look at Master Splinter!

Drew Goddard Takes Control of the Sinister Six for Sony

Back when Sony Pictures annoucned plans for their own cohesive comic book universe surrounding the characters within Spider-Man lore, they revealed plans for Venom and Sinister Six movies.  At the time it was revealed the Drew Goddard was currently working on the script for Sinister Six, and it was possible he could direct the project as well.  Now it's been confirmed as Sony has officially made a deal with the man to helm the film.

Johnny Knoxville & Tony Shalhoub set to Voice Leonardo and Splinter in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Back when filming on the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie began, many of us assumed that the actors cast in the various roles, who donned mo-cap suits, would also be providing the voices for the characters (like in Avatar and even Planet of the Apes).  Apparently that wasn't the case, as Johnny Knoxville and Tony Shalhoub have been hired on to provide the voices of Leonardo and Splinter, respectively.
