Although it was recently revealed by Joss Whedon that the character of Quicksilver would appear in Disney’s Avengers 2; Bryan Singer--Director of Fox’s  X-Men: Days of future Past--has announced that Evan Peters will be playing Quicksilver in the X-sequel. So who really has the rights to Quicksilver? Both apparently!

Warner Bros. has released a final trailer for Man of Steel, this one focusing more on the action and general epicness of the film.  While this trailer runs a tad shorter than previous ones, it makes up for it in spades, by showing tons of great action and bringing the threat level into focus. 

This morning brings a brand new trailer for James Mangold's The Wolverine, giving us oodles of new footage for fans to get excited over, and provides a better look at the overall plot of the mutant's next solo outing.  Come inside to check it out. 

As expected, J.J. Abrams' highly anticipated Star Trek Into Darkness took the number one spot at the box office away from Iron Man 3.  Despite moving to the number two position, Disney's armored Avenger is still going strong and is now sitting at the 9th highest grossing film of all time. Over the weekend, fans were treated to our first glimpse of footage from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the form of an all too brief 30-second TV spot.  Now they've released a full, nearly 3-minute long, trailer for the upcoming series taht gives us a better look at the new characters, and how this show is going to operate. 

That's right guys, we're partnering up with Warner Bros. and Lone Star Comics of Plano in order to giveaway free passes to early screenings (in Dallas) for Superman's return to the big screen in Man of Steel. 

Another weekend has passed, and now the box office receipts have been tallied and Iron Man 3 remains the #1 but the real surprise here is how impressive The Great Gatsby performed in it's first weekend, giving the well-known franchise a run for its money. 

Friday came the news that ABC had officially picked up the Marvel TV show, set to follow the agents of Nick Fury's SHIELD and be an extension of their cinematic universe.  Now, on the heels of the season finale of ABC's Once Upon a Time, comes our first 'teaser' of the new series coming this fall.  If you were missing Coulson, prepare to see lots of him.
