JRPG fans have something big to look forward to with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 on the Nintendo Switch, and got a much better look at the upcoming title (and it's story) thanks to a new trailer at E3 2017. Come inside to check it out!
Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was initially announced earlier this year during Nintendo's big Switch unveiling and fans were pretty excited. The first Xenoblade Chronicles launched on the Wii, and gave gamers a massive world to playthrough with an engaging (and lengthy story) and the sequel looks poised to deliver the same brand of fun, though in a different setting:
Explore an endless ocean of clouds, where the last remnants of civilization live on the backs of colossal beasts called Titans. Experience the story of Rex and his new friend, Pyra, a mysterious being known as a Blade who grants him tremendous power. Together, search for Pyra’s long lost home Elysium, the ultimate paradise for all of humanity.
Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which despite the number, isn't a diret follow-up to the previous game and introduces all new characters and settings, but it looks to be keep many of the elements that endeared so many to the first game. While we didn't get a release date at E3, they said it was still on track to launch on the Switch this Holiday season.
