Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 released a little bit ago on the PS4 and Xbox One, bringing about a great original Dragon Ball game for fans. Today, however, we know exactly when Nintendo Switch owners will be able to get in on the fun.
I really enjoyed Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 when it initially launched last November. It fixed just about all of the issues I had with the first Xenoverse game, while refining the already solid fighting mechanics. In short, it was a whole lot of fun, especially for long time fans of the iconic anime.
As such, I've been very much looking forward to getting my hands on the Switch version of the game (it was teased during the January Switch reveal event) to be able to take it with me on the go. Today, we finally know when it's coming, September 22, 2017. It'll have some features unique to the Switch version, like using the Joycons to execute moves , but the real highlight is being able to take another great game wherever you want:
The DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE series of games has taken DRAGON BALL fans on new adventures, new heights of action & excitement, and now Nintendo fans will have their chance to experience the biggest most detailed DRAGON BALL game ever when DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 launches for the Nintendo Switch on September 22, 2017 in the Americas.
Featuring Nintendo Switch specific controls and functionality, players will be able to execute famous moves such as the KAMEHAMEHA and the Spirit Bomb with the Joy Con Motion Controls. Players will also be able to join friends for grand DRAGON BALL adventures through a six-player local play mode, exclusive to the Nintendo Switch.
Will you be picking up Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 in September?
