THQ Nordic Details Darksiders III Release Date and Special Editions

For what feels like years, THQ Nordic has been teasing Darksiders III with no official release date to look forward to.  That is, until now!  Find out when Darksiders III will be playable and how to show that you're the biggest Darksiders fan with the Apocalyse Edition that puts all Collector's Editions to shame!

With the Seven Deadly Sins ravaging the Earth, a new Horseman has been called to put an end to the calamity, the sister of War and Death,  Fury.  Just a year ago, THQ Nordic announced to the world that a Horseman would ride again in Darksiders III.  As the announcement trailer suggested, she would do so with style, confidence, and unpredictability, the likes of which we hadn't experienced in the Darksiders series.

While the announcement trailer had everything you could ever want, action, story, intrigue, etc., it failed to let us know that in just a little over 4 months, Darksiders III will release.  That's due to the fact that THQ Nordic plans on releasing the next chapter of the Darksiders series, Darksiders III, on November 27, 2018 on PC, Xbox One, and Playstation 4.

In addition to the release date announcement, THQ Nordic accompanied it with the reveal of several editions to Darksiders III, one of which will absolutely blow you away.

Darksiders III will have 5 different editions (2 Exclusively Digital) for gamers to get their hands on, based on how big a fan you are and how much coin you're willing to shell out.  Here are how they stack out...

It's clear that THQ Nordic has high hopes for this game, based on that (gulp) $400 price tag for the Darksiders III Apocalypse Edition.  While, yes, you do get 4 premium figurines, that's a steep price to pay for a series that is only on its 3rd game.  Heck, not even the actual retail price for Fallout 76's Collector's Edition, with its working Helmet, went for that much.  Mega-fans of the series will find a way to pool their money for these figurines, and I wouldn't fault them for it, the figures are sick.  However, in my opinion, the best bang for your buck will come from the Blades & Whip edition 3 games for about $90, that's not too shabby.

Darksiders III releases November 27, 2018 from Gunfire Games, the developer of all three Darksiders games, and THQ Nordic!
