A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III has surfaced, but unlike the others that have been more whimsical and fun, this one shows us that the stakes are more dire than ever before! More within...
It's been said more than enough, mostly by me, that we've waited for over 12 years for Kingdom Hearts III to release. With the new game set to finally release at the end of January, a new trailer has surfaced creating the impression that this could be the end of the Kingdom Hearts series, a revelation many in the KH fandom may have not thought of. The new trailer, entitled "Together", features a voiceover and a synopsis about how this is the conclusion to the battle for light and life, something we may not have been ready for.
As the ultimate battle for light and life comes to an epic conclusion, Sora, with the help of his loyal companions Donald and Goofy, will team up with iconic Disney and Pixar characters in an attempt to defeat the darkness and save the universe.
If this is the end of Sora and the gang, they've had one heck of a go. It is fair to wonder, though, if they mean that this is just the end of this story arc. Since Kingdom Hearts is one of the most beloved series, with a massive following, they could always finish up with Sora & co., put them up on pedestals as legends, and move on with a new cast of characters. Regardless of what they decide, Kingdom Hearts III is looking like it'll be one epic ride.
The battle comes to an end on January 29, 2019 when Kingdom Hearts III releases on Xbox One and Playstation 4!
