New Gears of War: Judgement Trailer and Free Codes For Original Game

Epic Games has released a new trailer for Gears of War: Judgement and has announced free codes for the original Gears of War with early copies via Xbox Live.

The trailer, entitled 'The Guts of Gears' provides a run down of the single-player campaign narrated by Damon Baird, Judgement's protagonist (as opposed to Marcus Fenix from previous Gears games).

Unusual hearing a demo explained by a character actually from the game, but somewhat enamouring at the same time.

Microsoft also announced that, through research of its own, "more than half" of those who played Gears of War 3 hadn't actually played the original and therefore have included tokens for the game which inspired the series with early copies of Judgement to be redeemed on Xbox Live.  So early adopters get something of a special treat.

Gears of War Judgment releases on March 19, 2013.

Joe is from Scotland and has been playing games for as long as he can remember. In the absence of siblings, this child of the 80s sought companionship in the shape of an Atari 1040ST. Having owned virtually all consoles and handhelds throughout the generations since then, he is dedicated to playing recent and not-so-recent games alike; all the while offering up his inherently cynical point of view.
