Hands-On With Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Ubisoft had a stellar performance at this year's E3.  Sure, the Donkey Kong concert and the Just Dance panda gimmick were a bit strange, but overall they nailed every game they showed.  Chief among them, in my opinion, was Assassin's Creed Odyssey.  The Greek blood coursing through my veins was satisfied from what it saw from the trailer, but it didn't get excited until we played the game.  Here are my impressions for Assassin's Creed Odyssey!

Megabytes: E3 Conference Winners And Losers

Megabytes is a opinion based review of all the hottest topics of the past week (or two). You can catch our opinion in video form on our weekly recap show as well.

This past week we got the chance to celebrate E3, the biggest event for gamers. So why not take a chance to review what we got from the show. Plenty of announcements, but the biggest aspect of E3 is the conferences. Now that we’ve had some time to let them set in, watched parts of them a few more times, and allowed the excitement to die down, how did they do?

Hands-On With Trials Rising and For Honor: Marching Fire

 

A perennial contender for E3 Showcase of the Year is Ubisoft, mainly for their lineup of quality games. Aside from only one moment of “dead air”, Ubisoft accomplished what they set out to do: get us excited and ready to buy their big name titles. However, it’s one thing to see the game played by others, but it’s an entirely other thing to play the game yourself. Ubisoft invited us to check out a few of the top games shown at E3 2018, and we were surprised to find out how much we loved Trials Rising and the new content coming to For Honor with the Marching Fire DLC.
