This morning, Sony revealed the full 20 game line-up for it's PlayStation Classic system launching next month, including pleasant surprises and a few headscratchers. Come inside for the full list!
Fans were understandably excited when Sony revealed the PlayStation Classic the other month, but at the time only a few games had been announced as part of the system. Today, just a little over a month away from its December 3rd arrival, they've revealed the all 20 titles gamers will be able to play this Holiday season:
Metal Gear Solid and Syphon Filter seemed to pop up on everyone's wish lists for the system, and seeing the original GTA, along with Oddworld, Twisted Metal, and Resident Evil Director's Cut will make for some fun times. It'll be a great way for fans of those franchises to experience the originals and see how it all started.
Some of the other choices, however, seem odd. I mean, why would you throw in Destruction Derby when you already have Twisted Metal on there, but no Tomb Raider? Colony Wars, Chrono Cross, and a slew of others feel like they could have easily swapped out with Intelligent Cube or even Cool Boarders 2.
It's not a terrible line-up, in my opinion, but there's not as many "classics" included as some would like. Here's the full list in case you can make out everything in that graphic:
Battle Arena Toshinden
Cool Boarders 2
Final Fantasy VII
Grand Theft Auto
Metal Gear Solid
Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
Resident Evil Director's Cut
Ridge Racer Type 4
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six
What do you think of the PlayStation Classic games list? Will you be picking this up on December 3rd?
