Call of Duty: MODERN WARFARE

Throughout the years, Call of Duty has been at the top of the First Person Shooter (FPS) genre in sales. As demand has changed, so has the Call of Duty Franchise and its fans. We have gone from WW1 to space wars, but one story that has always stayed the same is MODERN WARFARE. Fans were drawn to Modern Warfare because of its dark gritty tale of terrorism, guerrilla warfare, and against all odds style of storyline. With soft reboots being a new normality, why not relaunch a franchise like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare? Here is our review of the latest in Activision's FPS mega-hits Call of Duty: Modern Warfare.

Knives Out

Knives Out is the long and eagerly awaited murder mystery/thriller from Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson. With a huge ensemble cast and a twisty, but not unpredictable plot, it is at the very least an enjoyable film.

Age of Empires II: Definitive Edition

The iconic real-time strategy game got an upgrade this month bringing a coat of polish, and more than enough upgrades to make it worth picking up once more. Check out my full review!

THE BOTTOM LINE: Universal Soldier still kills it after all these years

Universal Soldier is hardly a classic, but it’s a lot of fun, and features both Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren at their best. Don’t take it too seriously, and...

THE BOTTOM LINE: Anna is serviceable, but isn’t quite unique

Anna will remind you of many other “female spy” films, including some of Luc Besson’s classics. That's not a bad thing at all. While it isn’t quite original, it is...

THE BOTTOM LINE: Daybreakers is a unique and entertaining entry in the vampire genre

It isn’t the definitive vampire film, but Daybreakers will surprise you with its approach. There are themes of conservationism and class warfare, but there is also plenty of blood and...

THE BOTTOM LINE: ‘Lock Up’ is 80s Stallone at his cliche-laden best

The plot is predictable, and you’ll get every prison-movie trope ever conceived, but Stallone somehow makes it all watchable. The 4K transfer shows significant improvement to the video over previous...

THE BOTTOM LINE: Stallone delivers one of the best action films in years

At a time when action films have become neutered, PG-13 shells of their former selves, Stallone delivers a brutal, brilliant film that reminds us what the genre can be. The...

THE BOTTOM LINE: Season Nine is a Welcome Return to Form

Season nine, in many ways, reclaims the fundamentals that made the series so great. Despite the loss of a number of leading actors, the season rarely disappoints. The video transfer...

THE BOTTOM LINE: The Doors is a trippy musical biopic - and Oliver Stone at his best

It may not be the most accurate portrayal of Jim Morrison and The Doors, but Stone perfectly captures their essence. The social upheaval in the music of the late 1960s...

THE BOTTOM LINE: Hellboy stumbles badly in a disappointing reboot

It looks great, and David Harbour is excellent in the title role, but Hellboy is a disappointing mess of gothic horror that drowns in its own gore. The 4K technical...

THE BOTTOM LINE: 'Dead Trigger' Will Leave You Cheering for the Zombies

Inept filmmaking sinks what could have been a decent indie zombie flick. Dolph Lundgren is solid, and he has some notable actors around him, but they are squandered in a...
