Put on your Gi and fly a mile in Goku’s shoes to become the Greatest Warrior of all-time! Bandai Namco’s video game comprising the entire Dragon Ball Z series is finally here! Here is our review for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot!

Dolittle

Robert Downey Jr. stars as one of literature’s most enduring characters in a vivid reimagining of the classic tale of the man who could talk to animals: Dolittle. After losing his wife (Kasia Smutniak) seven years earlier, the eccentric Dr. John Dolittle (Downey), famed doctor and veterinarian of Queen Victoria’s England, hermits himself away behind the high walls of Dolittle Manor with only his menagerie of exotic animals for company.  But when the young queen (Jessie Buckley) falls gravely ill, a reluctant Dolittle is forced to set sail on an epic adventure to a mythical island in search of a cure, regaining his wit and courage as he crosses old adversaries and discovers wondrous creatures. The doctor is joined on his quest by a young, self-appointed apprentice, Tommy Stubbins (Harry Collett) and a band of his animal friends, including a fearful gorilla, Chee-Chee (Rami Malek), an enthusiastic but bird-brained duck,Dab-Dab (Octavia Spencer), a bickering duo of a cynical ostrich, Plimpton (Kumail Nanjiani) and an upbeat polar bear, Yoshi (John Cena) and a headstrong parrot, Poly (Emma Thompson), who also serves as Dolittle’s most trusted advisor and confidante.  The film also stars Antonio Banderas as King Rassouli, Michael Sheen as Dr. Blair Müdfly, and voice performances from Tom Holland, Ralph Fiennes, Selena Gomez, Marion Cotillard, Frances de la Tour, Jason Mantzoukas and Craig Robinson.

THE BOTTOM LINE: 'Dead Trigger' Will Leave You Cheering for the Zombies

Inept filmmaking sinks what could have been a decent indie zombie flick. Dolph Lundgren is solid, and he has some notable actors around him, but they are squandered in a...

THE BOTTOM LINE: Replicas Is A Bad Clone of Better Sci-Fi Films

Replicas will remind you of some classic sci-fi and horror, from Frankenstein to Minority Report to I, Robot. It doesn’t make the film great, as it fails to realize its...

The Bottom Line: Sam Worthington stars in a solid, but not spectacular, crime thriller

Man on a Ledge is an entertaining thriller, even if it tests the bounds of logic at every turn. The cast itself does an admirable job raising the tension, and...

THE BOTTOM LINE: Not Even Travolta Can Save This Pedestrian Crime Drama

Speed Kills should have been so much better than it is. A meandering script and amateurish direction sink an interesting story and solid performances from Travolta and the rest of...
