Teaser Poster for Tarantino's The Hateful Eight Released

Quentin Tarantino has released the official movie poster of his latest project called The Hateful Eight. However, what makes this movie standout is how old-school Tarrantino is going with this one. He will be shooting it in Super CinemaScope : a type of anamorphic lens series used between 1953 to 1967 before it was replaced later by Panavision.


Alex Kurtzman Will Helm Universal's The Mummy Reboot

Hopefully the third time turns out to be the charm for Universal as they've brougth on yet another director (after two backed out) for their upcoming The Mummy reboot.  Alex Kurtzman will be taking the helm of the film, though that seems to throw some of his other projects into question.  Come inside to see the full report!


Godzilla Writer Max Borenstein to Write Skull Island; Joe Cornish Being Courted to Direct

One of the genuine surprises from this year's Comic-Con is that Legendary Pictures announced a new King Kong project was in the works, that would serve as a prequel to the traditional Kong story.  At the time, the only information we had on Skull Island was a release date with no information on who'd be writing or directing the film.  Now we know one of those, and potentially the other.  Come inside to learn more!

First Trailer for The Battle of Five Armies Released

This December will see the final film in The Hobbit trilogy release in theaters, and fans of Middle-Earth and Peter Jackson's films have been anxious to see the first fotoage from the final movie, The Battle of Five Armies.  Attendees at SDCC were able to see the first trailer for the film (and we got a very nice poster), but now Warner Bros. has released it for all to see.  Come inside to check it out.  


First Official Trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1!

SDCC has wrapped and given us plenty to chew on over the last few days, and now things are starting to pop up online that attendees were able to see already.  As promised, Lionsgate used the venue to release the first real trailer for the new Hunger Games film, Mockingjay Part 1 and now they've debuted it online for the whole world to see.  Come inside to check out the first real look at the film.
