Hans Zimmer Says He's Scoring Batman vs. Superman

Hans Zimmer is a pretty hot commodity right now in terms of musical composition, being attached to a number of high profile film projects; most recently The Amazing Spider-Man 2.  He's behind all of Christopher Nolan's Batman films, and Zack Snyder's Man of Steel, so many assumed he'd be returning to score Batman vs. Superman.  In a recent interview, Zimmer all but confirms he's returning and expresses his fears about coming up with a new theme for the caped crusader.

10 Things We Don’t Want to See in the New Godzilla Film

There are high expectations for the Godzilla reboot. Skeptics fear that this could become another farce like the 1998 version.  Hell, even the original Toho series eventually degenerated into self-parody. There's hope for the new film as well, generated by the footage we've seen so far, and we feel that if Gareth Edwards and WB can steer clear of these ten horrible ideas from Godzilla's past, the film will be just fine.

Catch a Glimpse of Splinter in the MTV Movie Awards Footage for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

Say what you will about MTV, or the validity of it's Movie Awards show, but it's hard to deny that they get one thing right: the spectacle.  the MTV Movie Awards is a celebration of movies and there are certain aspects of that show I've been dying for the Oscars to pick up.  Namely, studios use it as a platform to showcase their upcoming films with new footage.  Last night was no different, and Paramount released a TV spot for Teenage Muntant Ninja Turtles with all new footage and our first look at Master Splinter!

Harrison Ford's Best Answers From his Reddit AMA

The iconic Harrison Ford held a Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) online chat Sunday afternoon, to help promote the new documentary series Years of Living Dangerously, which airs on Showtime beginning this week. The series explores climate change, and while Ford did discuss the series and his motivations for participating, fans took the opportunity to ask him about everything from Star Wars to Indiana Jones and even Blade Runner and The Expendables 3.

Summit Entertainment Announces Release Dates for Allegiant Part 1 & 2

What do you do when you have the successful rights to a book franchise?  Well, you split the final chapter into two separate movies of course.  It's a precedent that started with Harry Potter, and has extended through Twilight, Hunger Games, and now the final book in the trilogy kicked off by Divergent.  Summit made the news official today and announced release dates for both parts of the final chapter in the book adaptation series.

Guy Ritchie's King Arthur Movie Gets a 2016 Release Date

A few months ago we heard reports that Warner Bros. was looking to hire on Guy Ritchie to helm a new take on the King Arthur story that they were hoping to turn into a tentpole style franchise.  While there's no real word on that just yet, WB has officially set a release date for the first movie (with Ritchie at the helm) in 2016.
