14 years ago Disney Pixar gave us our best look at a Fantastic Four film. No not an actual Fantastic Four adaptation, but a animated film about a family of Supers named The Incredibles. Ever since it’s release fans have been clamoring for a sequel to the hit film. Rumors swirled for years, and now it is finally happening. The Incredibles are back, back in full force. In late 2017 we got a quick teaser trailer, and now we have our first real look at the new film. Picking up directly after the original film, The Incredibles 2 seems to center around Mr. Incredible taking over the house hold duties while the government has decided to use Elastigirl in a new initiative to bring back the Supers. The newest trailer was released during the Olympics on Wednesday, check it out below.

Once again written and directed by Brad Bird, The Incredibles 2 features Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Samuel L. Jackson and John Ratzenberger all reprising their roles from the first film. They are joined by newcomers Huck Milner, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Sophia Bush, Jonathan Banks and Isabella Rossellini. The official synopsis reads:

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2” – but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life. It’s a tough transition for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers. When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again—which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible. Directed by Brad Bird (“Iron Giant,” “The Incredibles”) and produced by John Walker (“The Incredibles”) and Nicole Grindle (“Sanjay’s Super Team” short, “Toy Story 3” associate producer), “Incredibles 2” busts into theaters on June 15, 2018.
