After Terminator Genisys we figured that was it for the franchise. We were done with Terminators. However James Cameron got the rights back, and here we are. A new installment produced by the man that gave us the best the franchise had to offer. Does that mean we are in for a treat? Are we getting a film worthy enough to return the franchise to greatness? Only time will tell. What we do know is that Arnold is returning, and so is Linda Hamilton, reprising her iconic role of Sarah Connor.
Yesterday we got our first look at the film with an image via the films official twitter. It gives us a look at Sarah Connor, as well newcomers to the franchise, Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire) and Natalia Reyes (2091). Check it out.
Not much to go on other then a badass Sarah Connor. Looking all angry and ready. The film takes place after arguably the best the franchise had to give us in Terminator 2: Judgement Day. Effectively erasing the rest, which seems to be the gimmick of today’s franchise sequels. The film will be directed by Deadpool director Tim Miller, with Cameron on board as Producer. Gabriel Luna (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story) also joins the cast as a Terminator, along with Diego Boneta (Rock Of Ages) as the brother of Reyes’ character. The film currently only known as Terminator 6, will hit theaters November 22, 2019.
The only question I have now is, where’s John Connor?
