Mr. Incredible adjusts to life as a stay-at-home dad in this latest trailer for Incredibles 2 that you have to see! Check it out!
After yesterday's new poster reveal (pictured), Disney-Pixar decided that the perfect way to follow it up is with a brand new trailer! Fortunately, this trailer has everything you'd want to see from an Incredibles 2 trailer. Humor, villains, superpowers, and the awesome shift in the family dynamic we started to see in the first trailer for Incredibles 2!
Have a look...
In “Incredibles 2,” Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is called on to lead a campaign to bring Supers back, while Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) navigates the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell), Dash (voice of Huck Milner) and baby Jack-Jack—whose super powers are about to be discovered. Their mission is derailed, however, when a new villain emerges with a brilliant and dangerous plot that threatens everything. But the Parrs don’t shy away from a challenge, especially with Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) by their side. That’s what makes this family so Incredible.
As opposed to the previous trailer, which mainly touched on the new family dynamic, today's trailer gives us a ton more context. What makes this so great is that Incredibles 2 reverses the parenting roles from the first Incredibles film with Elastigirl becoming a full time agent, trying to save the word and repeal the superhero oppressors. Meanwhile, Mr. Incredible must stay home and take care of his superpowered kids. Fans of the first film will remember that it was Mr. Incredible who was being the secret agent, albeit for a obsessed mad man, but a secret agent nonetheless.
Incredibles 2 releases in theaters June 15, 2018, starring Craig T. Nelson, Holly Hunter, Sarah Vowell, Huck Milner, Samuel L. Jackson, Brad Bird, Bob Odenkirk, Catherine Keener, Jonathan Banks, Sophia Bush, & Isabella Rossellini!
