Holy News Storm, Batman! Cameos, Set Photos, Music, and More from the Set of 'The Dark Knight Rises'

Every single thing that happens with The Dark Knight Rises is news.  It has been this way ever since the film has been announced.  However, not everything deserves an article of its own.  So to save time, here's all The Dark Knight Rises news you could possibly ask for...Until something new comes out tomorrow.

First, the big one.  Recent reports from Twitter claim that Adam West has been spotted in the area where The Dark Knight Rises has been shooting.  Coincidence?  Probably.  But Floss Magazine claims that the reports are true, and that Adam West will indeed have a cameo in the film.  In my opinion, adding Adam West to anything couldn't possibly go wrong.  I'm interested to see if this comes to fruition.  Here's the tweet from Floss Magazine, if you are curious:

I don't know who these "Hollywood big wigs" are, but they certainly sound authentic!  People with big wigs don't lie.

Next up is an update on one of the most important parts of The Dark Knight Rises; the music.  The music for The Dark Knight, composed by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, was a fantastic soundtrack.  Fans are obviously expecting a lot for the sequel.  At this point, it seems Hans Zimmer will be going at it alone, but he did tell the BBC what we might expect:

I’ve been listening to a lot of Verdi lately. And Alison Goldfrapp, and a lot of electronica as I’m heading into ‘Dark Knight’ territory again.

While we've seen it before, this is our best look yet at the new Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises. Pretty snazzy, Mr. Wayne.  Nice to see you drop the penthouse.

And finally, more accidents on the set of The Dark Knight Rises.  And this one doesn't involve Anne Hathaway!  A parachutist plunged into a house near Feashiebridge two nights ago while filming a scene for The Dark Knight Rises. Even though his landing was rough, he came out of it fine.  Poor roof, though (Press and Journal).

Well that does it for today.  Check back soon for more news from the set.  And a lot of it.
