Next year brings a new adaptation of Stephen King's Pet Sematary, but you can get your first look at the film today before watching the trailer tomorrow. Come inside to check out the images and poster!
Are you ready for the Pet Sematary remake? The latest Stephen King adaptation is coming to us next year, but over the next couple days we get the chance to see how it's coming along. Today, we get a tone-setting poster along with some new images of the film, but tomorrow morning we'll see it in action thanks to a trailer:
Based on these images, it definitely exudes the same vibes as the first film. I mean, the pic of them eating dinner with Jason Clarke's Dr. Louis looking bored/annoyed is dead on from the original. I'm digging the look so far and the creepy factor is certainly there. Hopefully tomorrow's trailer continues to bring the goods.
Based on the seminal horror novel by Stephen King, Pet Sematary follows Dr. Louis Creed (Jason Clarke), who, after relocating with his wife Rachel (Amy Seimetz) and their two young children from Boston to rural Maine, discovers a mysterious burial ground hidden deep in the woods near the family’s new home. When tragedy strikes, Louis turns to his unusual neighbor, Jud Crandall (John Lithgow), setting off a perilous chain reaction that unleashes an unfathomable evil with horrific consequences.
Pet Sematary hits theaters on April 5, 2019. Be sure to come back to Cinelinx early tomorrow morning when we'll have the trailer up as soon as it drops.
