The Casual Cinecast reviews First Man & Bad Times at the El Royale

As always, before we get into the main reviews, we like to open with a “What’s On Our Mind’s” segment! Mike watched the critically acclaimed indie-drama Leave No Trace, starring Ben Foster and Thomasin McKenzie. Justin revisits the 2008 vampire horror-drama Let the Right One In. Meanwhile Chirs talks about the newest Robert Redford film The Old Man & The Gun.

Then we move on into our review of First Man, the story of Neil Armstrong and the Apollo mission that made history, starring Ryan Gosling and Claire Foy. This is the newest film by Damien Chazelle. Did we think the film was out of the world? Listen to the review and find out! Then finally we get to our review of Bad Times at the El Royale, writtern and directed by Drew Goddard and stars Jeff Bridges, Chris Hemsworth, Dakota Johnson and more! This film is about seven strangers who meet up at a shady motel and let’s just say things get a little crazy. Find out if we thought this mystery was worth while!
