Today brings about a brand new trailer for The Kid Who Would Be King showing off more of the modern King Arthur story and the importance of relying on others against the forces of evil. Come inside to take a look!
I've always been a sucker for King Arthur tales. They have magic, swords, chivalry, and all that other good stuff. Sadly, there haven't been a whole lot of good King Arthur movies/stories recently, but so far The Kid Who Would Be King looks to be a ridiculous amount of fun. The newest trailer for the film arrived today and showcases more of the adventure that awaits:
The modern twist on the story has me intrigued and seeing the blend of classic magic and modern technology makes for some interesting juxtapositions. More than anything, The Kid Who Would Be King feels like an old-school kid adventure movie and a lot of fun to boot. If the full movie manages to maintain that level of joy and adventure as these trailers, audiences are going to be in for a treat. What do you think about the latest trailer?
Old school magic meets the modern world in the epic adventure THE KID WHO WOULD BE KING. Alex (Ashbourne Serkis) thinks he's just another nobody, until he stumbles upon the mythical Sword in the Stone, Excalibur. Now, he must unite his friends and enemies into a band of knights and, together with the legendary wizard Merlin (Stewart), take on the wicked enchantress Morgana (Ferguson). With the future at stake, Alex must become the great leader he never dreamed he could be.
The Kid Who Would Be King hits theaters on Janurary 25, 2019.
