Follow the Legends That Took Down Bonny & Clyde in Netflix's The Highwaymen

At the end of March, Netflix will tell the story of the two men that took down the iconic duo, Bonny & Clyde, in The Highwaymen.  More within...

For decades, Hollywood has romanticized the story of the young outlaw couple, Bonny and Clyde, that wreaked havoc across Texas and Louisiana for 2 straight years.  Their story became legend, because of it.  So much so, it's become socially acceptable for couples to call each other the Bonny to their Clyde, and vise versa, to portray an unbreakable partnership/bond.  It's all well and good, but very rarely do we ever see the realistic, darker side to the story.  We never learn more about the two former Texas Rangers who brought down the world's most iconic couple of outlaws.

This March, Netflix will finally tell that story with The Highwaymen, based on the untold true story, starring Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson.

The outlaws made headlines. The lawmen made history. From director John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side), THE HIGHWAYMEN follows the untold true story of the legendary detectives who brought down Bonnie and Clyde. When the full force of the FBI and the latest forensic technology aren’t enough to capture the nation’s most notorious criminals, two former Texas Rangers (Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson) must rely on their gut instincts and old school skills to get the job done.

The Highwaymen arrives on Netflix on March 29, 2019.
