Bond 50 is Bringing All 22 James Bond Films to Blu-Ray in One Set

The 50th Anniversary is coming up for the James Bond franchise, and of course the studios aren't going to let that pass without something major to give to the fans.  Thus, we have the announcement for Bond 50.  This collection, is absolutely huge.  It's got all 22 current Bond films in HD on blu-ray, and includes a 23rd bonus disc with new special features.  That's a lot of damn films, and simply a massive collection. 

Outside of all of that, another thing that should have fans excited is that it this is the first time 9 of these films have been available in high-definition.  The set is scheduled to release on September 25th, and I've gone over the press release a few times but didn't see a price.  My guess is it's going to be quite a bit.  Considering its got 122 hours of bonus footage, the price will probably be justifiable to many.

Set for release just prior to the theatrical premiere of SKYFALL, BOND 50 will offer a look at the latest Bond film through videoblogs shot with the cast and crew.  The BOND 50 collection also provides two all-new pieces that spotlight the history of 007.  “The World of Bond” takes a look at the style and attitude that is signature to Bond; pulling together the cars, the women, the villains and the music that have been a staple of these films for the past 50 years.  “Being Bond” profiles the six distinguished actors that have had the honor of portraying 007.

Additional bonus content in the BOND 50 collection includes cast and crew commentaries, the behind-the-scenes making of each film, in-depth interviews with every actor that played Bond, a closer look at the exotic locations as shot on-the-set, the women of Bond, the villains of Bond, Bond’s cars and gadgets, music videos and much, much more!
