Blu Crew: 20th Century Fox Black Friday Deals

It's that time of year again, where you gather the family around, eat a whole bunch of food, and then trample other people in order to get in on some good deals. Everyone seems to be getting in on Black Friday and for movie buffs, it's a good time to stock up.  20th Century Fox has just clued us in on their upcoming sales, so we're passing the info along.

I don't do a whole lot of Black Friday shopping.  I hate dealing with the big crowds.  The Cyber Monday business is more my thing as I can do that at my own leisure.  Mostly, it's a good opportunity for me to catch up on blu-ray's that I may not have.  20th Century Fox is having some sales through Fox Connect featuring $4 DVDs and $5 blu-rays.  The official release has some more info:

Blu Review: Oz the Great and Powerful Oz the Great and Powerful arrived in theaters to mixed reviews from critics and a B+ Cinemascore from audiences. It managed to more than make back its production cost and will be followed up by the inevitable sequel. Sam Raimi's prequel to the 1939 classic now hits Blu-ray and DVD, giving…

Eric's Blu Review: Jack The Giant Slayer Bryan Singer has never been a filmmaker whose work I've celebrated and adored. It's not that his films aren't entertaining to some degree. However, they always seem to have an issue with pacing, which could just as well be blamed on the writers he chooses to work with. Most of…

Rated: Now You See Me (2013) At their core, blockbuster films are known for being over-the-top, loud, and brash. Now You See Me is an attempt at making a smart one. Unfortunately, “summer blockbuster” and “smart” are rarely used in the same sentence. Now You See Me is no exception.
