New ‘Transformers’ Movies Are in the Works

Fans, both old and new, of the Transformers franchise will be pleased to hear that there are more films on the way.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, new scripts are being worked on by Joby Harold and James Vanderbilt. Harold co-wrote Army of the Dead, wrote Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword and worked on John Wick: Chapter 2 and John Wick: Chapter 3 – Para Bellum, while Vanderbilt is well-known for writing Zodiac and co-writing the Andrew Garfield-starring Amazing Spider-Man movies (just to name a few).

It’s rumored that at least one these scripts will be a take on Transformers: Beast Wars (at least according to Deadline), but nothing is known for sure at this time.

Given the great reception Bumblebee received, it will be interesting to see what types of stories are added to the Transformers saga in the years to come.
