Ant-Man looks to be answering the call in 2020!
Variety is reporting that the MCU’S Paul Rudd will be joining the Ghostbusters sequel that will hit theaters in 2020. The film already has Carrie Coon along with Finn Wolfhard (Stranger Things) and Mckenna Grace (Gifted).
The project will be directed by Jason Reitman, whose father Ivan Reitman was the genius behind the original 2 films. Jason co-wrote the screenplay with Gil Kenan and plans to shoot the film late summer.
Jason spoke about working wanting to work with Rudd saying:
“I’ve been wanting to work with Paul Rudd since my short film opened for ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ at Sundance. I’m thrilled he’ll be joining this new chapter in the original Ghostbusters universe,”
Rudd seems quite excited to move into ghost hunting after his run in with the MCU’s Ghost in Ant-Man And The Wasp. The Ghostbusters posted this video early Thursday announcing the news.
