If this week’s incredible new trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters wasn’t enough for you, then you’re in luck. Warner Bros. has revealed three new character posters that put the spotlight on the new monsters joining the fight. While we’ve seen them all in the trailer(s), these new posters give us our best look yet at their modern designs:
These are amazing and my jaw hit the floor when I saw them. As a big monster movie/Godzilla fan I can’t believe we’re getting new versions of these Kaiju on the big screen. All I can do now is stare at these, watch the trailer on loop, and hold it together until May.
The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
Godzilla: King of the Monsters hits theaters on May 31, 2019.
