Last week, Disney hinted at an impending Beauty and the Beast trailer with all the content they shared. First, we had the Entertainment Weekly pictures and then the official movie poster for the film. Typically, when most studios release movie posters, a trailer isn’t too far away. That is definitely the case, this time, as ABC‘s morning show, Good Morning America, had the priviledge of unleashing it onto the world.
Disney has put a lot of time, effort, and money into the revival of these live-action classics. Previous films like Maleficent, Cinderella, and The Jungle Book have been successful, according to box office numbers. Early indications for Beauty and the Beast show no signs of that changing.
The trailer, itself, is a beautiful preview of what we can expect next year. It gives the audience a good idea of the changes they made to create a living world from the fantasy its animated predecessor gave us. If anything, this trailer shows that their upcoming March 2017 film may blow out the reigning champion, The Jungle Book ($966 million).
Disney’s Beauty and the Beast will finally arrive in theaters March 17, 2017!
