Bradley Cooper Coming to TV in Adaptation of Limitless

Bradley Cooper (Silver Lings Playbook, the Hangover, the A-Team) has joined forces with Relativity Television and Georgeville Television to adapt his 2011 movie Limitless into a weekly series. Cooper will be both the star and the Executive Producer of the planned show.

The show will follow the storyline of film; which was about unsuccessful writer Eddie Morra, whose life is transformed by a “smart drug” that allows him to use 100% of his brain and become a perfect version of himself. His enhanced abilities soon attract the attention of ruthless people who see the money-making potential in Eddie or who want to share in his abilities, while bizarre side-effects of the drug further endanger him.

Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh says, “The story will transition perfectly to television, and we’re excited to partner with such a talented actor and producer as Bradley Cooper on the series.” Georgeville TV CEO Marc Rosen added, “The film has an organic natural extension into a compelling and sophisticated one-hour drama that is both a thrill-ride and a social commentary.”

Bradley Cooper will also be providing the voice for Rocket Raccoon in the currently filming adaptation of the Marvel comic Guardians of the Galaxy.
