There is a lot to love about what Netflix did with Season 1 of A Series of Unfortunate Events, based on the novel by Lemony Snicket. For starters, they had an exceptional cast, with incredible timing and pace. Plus, the environments were just gorgeous as they went from drab to eye-poppingly colorful. However, the best part of Season 1 was how overwhelmingly depressing it was. That may be a strange thing to say about a show, but that’s exactly what they promised and it was brilliant to watch.
According to the new teaser for Season 2, it’s going to get even worse for the Baudelaire children!
More isn’t always better. Sometimes it’s much worse. March 30th, get ready for more villains, more schemes, more peril, more orphans and more intentional fires. It’s really going to be quite dreadful. We can’t wait.
Neil Patrick Harris and the rest of the main cast will return for Season 2. Nathan Fillion and Sara Rue join the series as likely the smokescreen parents that Will Arnett and Cobie Smulders played in Season 1.
Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 2 releases in its entirety on March 30, 2018, exclusively on Netflix!
