Two Halloween Movies Announced and Dated For 2020 & 2021

On one of the biggest weeks for movies and fandom, Jamie Lee Curtis made a monster announcement about the Halloween franchise! Two films are coming and releasing back to back! More within…

San Diego Comic Con 2019 is up and running, which means it’s time for major breaking news. Halloween star Jamie Lee Curtis, fresh off of a hugely successful Halloween reprisal, announced that two Halloween movies would hit theaters in back to back years.

To make matters more awesome, she also brought titles for both films.

On October 16, 2020, Halloween Kills and in October 15, 2021, Halloween Ends.

2018’s Halloween brought in over $255 million worldwide on just a $10 million budget. That’s a remarkable return on a franchise that’s been dormant for years. So, it’s a small wonder why Blumhouse would want to go all in on two more films.
