Sony has really been stepping up their game when it comes to the free games releasing on Playstation Plus. A couple of months ago they had Bloodborne and Ratchet & Clank free for Playstation Plus members, but today’s announcement may just overshadow those. For the month of May, Playstation Plus members can experience Quantic Dream‘s, the creator of the highly-anticipated Detroit: Become Human game, Beyond: Two Souls, starring the incomparable Ellen Page, and Ubisoft‘s Rayman Legends for free, just by hitting the Add to Library button in the Playstation Store!
See them in action with Playstation’s announcement video:
Beyond: Two Souls is free at the perfect time, as gamers can get acquainted with Quantic Dream‘s unique style, ahead of Detroit: Become Human‘s May 25 release date. The critically-acclaimed Beyond: Two Souls game follows the mysterious bond between Jodie (Ellen Page) and the separate soul Aiden. In this game, you must learn to control Aiden’s powers in order to discover the secrets of the Infraworld. It’s a small wonder Page and co-star Willem Dafoe‘s performances were so good, they spent a year working on this game.
As for the other game, Ubisoft‘s Rayman Legends is the best way to become introduced to the Rayman series. Rayman Legends is actually one of the best Rayman games in the series, mainly because of its modern gameplay and graphics. The previous 4 games, while great games, didn’t feel nearly as smooth as the updated platformer.
Beyond: Two Souls and Rayman Legends are available for FREE on Playstation Plus from now until the end of May!
