The new trailer sets up the whole idea of “Ghost” Recon by talking about the soldiers we play as in the game. There is a bit of gameplay shown, but it is mostly showing off the massive environment the game takes place in. The trailer then ends with a hint of more details coming at E3 this June.
The game is of course open world with many approaches to every battle. They do showcase a drone which can scout areas and mark enemies, along with different techniques to get into locations. They also showcase many vehicles such as bikes and even dropping out of a helicopter.
Ubisoft also announced to special editions of the game. A Deluxe Edition which includes a Huntsman rifle and motorbike, three emblems, three weapon camo, three character customization items and a XP booster. A physical Deluxe Edition which includes all of the above plus two physical items including a map of the in-game world, and the game’s soundtrack. The Deluxe Edition is $80 either way.
A Gold Edition that will cost $100 includes all of the above, but also includes the games “season pass.” This will include two “major expansions” along with exclusive equipment packs, an vehicle and epic weapons.
Lastly there is a “collectors Edition” which will bundle a Santa Muerte figurine and collectible posters designed by Ken Taylor with your choice of above bundles. You can opt for just the statue and poster and standard game for $120, the Deluxe Edition bundle for $130, or the Gold bundle for $160.
All pre-orders for any edition of the game will unlock an exclusive mission called The Peruvian Connection. In this mission players set out to explore the high mountains of the map to break a connection between two villains.
