The new trailer is said to be live-action, but like a Hollywood blockbuster it also has a lot of CG effects. That is fine however considering it showed off a lot of the demons found in the game and we got to see a kick ass Doom guy taking them all out. Oh and they kept their awesome tone with a nice metal track to go along with it!
The trailer is to celebrate the release of the private beta starting today and running through the weekend. If you purchased Wolfenstein: The New Order this is officially the beta you have been waiting for. Most people pre-registered years ago!
It is also worth noting if you particpated in the Alpha earlier, this wasn’t exclusive to Wolfenstein users and was selected users instead, your Alpha client should automatically update to the beta client. Xbox One users can find the beta in the “ready to install” area of “my games” if this is the case. As for PS4 users, you should recieve a message from Sony on your PS4 to download the beta, or you can head to the Bethesda forums and follow a specific link to do it on PC. PS4 users ran into some issues trying to pre install the beta last night.
While the beta is private to Wolfenstein and alpha players (for now at least?) Bethesda and ID Software said they encourage recording and sharing all game play sessions! This is awesome because Alpha players were not allowed to do so, and trust me we really wanted to!
