Microsoft today announced that they are releasing Gears of War inspired bundles. A standard bundle that includes a digital copy of the game and the new Xbox One S (and new controller) will release in two bundles. A 500GB version will cost $299, while a 1TB version will cost $349.
Also releasing is a limited edition Gears bundle which includes a special edition styled Xbox One S. The console and controller will come in a deep blue color. This bundle includes a physical copy of the game in the US, and digital in Canada. The special edition bundle will only be at GameStop and Microsoft stores and will cost $299.
If you pre-order and of the bundles you will get the entire Xbox 360 Gears collection which is backwards compatible on Xbox One.
There is also a red and black special edition Gears bundle that was previously announced. This one retails for $449 and comes with a 2TB hard drive.
The bundles of course include the new Xbox One S controllers which are now compatible with Samsung VR headsets. The Xbox One S is the only gaming console that can do 4K upscaling as of now.
Fans in the US and Australia will also have the option to get an Xbox One S “Gears of War 4” Special Edition Bundle starting Nov. 1. This bundle features a special edition deep blue console bundle with a 500GB hard drive and matching new Xbox Wireless Controller with expanded range and Bluetooth support for Windows 10 PCs along with a copy of “Gears of War 4” for $299 USD (exclusively at GameStop and Microsoft Stores in the US, and at EB Games and Microsoft Stores in Australia).
