A brand new trailer for an upcoming Battlefield V map previews the intensely close quarters of Operation Underground. Check out the trailer within…
Often times, when a new trailer for a game or map releases, I like to envision how I’d play in the situations they present. Most of the time, I feel like I’d fair ok. However, in the case of Battlefield V‘s new Operation Underground map, I have no doubt that I would be absolutely 100% dead.
That’s because DICE and EA have incorporated a close quarters, fiercely intense matchmaking experience underneath a war-torn German city into Battlefield V. It’s insane and it’s one you have to see to believe. Here is the pulse-pounding trailer for Operation Undergound.
Drawing inspiration from the Operation Métro map featured in Battlefield 3 and Battlefield 4: Second Assault, Operation Underground is a true passion project in level design. Featuring intense close-quarter combat, the map takes place in a war-torn German city environment across diverse play areas including urban streets and courtyards, and within the narrow tunnels of the German underground railway, passenger and supply trains. The trains are halted when artillery fire ruptures the ground above, causing both sides to navigate through the confined space to reach the other side.
Battlefield V – Operation Underground goes live on October 3, 2019 and will be playable in a variety of gameplay modes, including Breakthrough, Conquest, Squad Conquest, Team Deathmatch.
