At long last, Capcom has announced that Devil May Cry is finally coming to Nintendo Switch! More within…
For months, fans have been wondering which new character would be joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Nintendo Switch. As those same fans began rallying for Devil May Cry‘s Dante to join the fray, Devil May Cry 5 director Hideaki Itsuno said it didn’t make sense because Devil May Cry has never been on any Nintendo system.
This summer, that will all change, as Capcom took to the Devil May Cry 5 twitter profile to announce that the original Devil May Cry game will be ported to Nintendo Switch.

There isn’t an official date announced for the game, nor if it will be the remastered version, but it is an exciting development, nonetheless. Perhaps this will even put Dante back in the running for a roster spot on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
As more news on Devil May Cry coming to Nintendo Switch is unearthed, we’ll have it here.
