PlayStation TV Releasing October 14th With 700 Compatible Games

PSTV will finally be hitting NA on October 14th! In EU the unit will be releasing on November 14th. In NA a stand alone unit will cost $99, as expected. Sony is also releasing a bundle, pictured above, that includes a PS3 controller, The Lego Movie videogame, and an 8GB memory card for $139. If you go to Wal-Mart the bundle will also come with Sly Cooper and still be the same price.

For EU, the unit will cost £84.99/€99.99 RRP and come with three digital games, Worms Revolution Extreme, Velocity Ultra and OlliOlli. So far that is it though. The PSTV comes with 1GB of onboard memory, but they don’t seem to be including anything more than that. If you are a current Vita owner, memory cards should easily move over, but otherwise you will most likely need to buy one.

The PlayStation TV is also compatible with pretty much every system thanks to PS Now. The unit will stream the service giving you access to older generation of games including PS Classics and PS2 titles. Vita game will easily transfer over by simply inserting the cartridge, or by downloading them to the unit. PS4 is compatible via remote play which functions exactly like the Vita, but you will need a PS4 controller.

The EU PlayStation Blog posted a full list of Vita compatible titles, so if you are curious you can head there now and see what it will offer.
