Ronda Rousey is living the dream right now. She just became the first woman inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame, she’s the current Raw Women’s Champion in WWE, and now she’s playing her video game hero, Sonya Blade, in Mortal Kombat 11. Her reveal came during WB Games and NetherRealm’s MK11 Reveal, where she took the stage to greet the fans and say,
“I’ve been a lifelong Mortal Kombat fan, and Sonya Blade was the first kick-ass, female video game character that I related to,” said Ronda Rousey. “Now I get to voice her in Mortal Kombat 11. It’s a dream come true to be a part of the Mortal Kombat franchise that I grew up playing.
Afterward, she gushed about all the fighting moves that both her and Blade perform in combat. It was one of those moments that you knew meant a lot to Rousey. That kind of raw excitement and passion can’t help but make you feel like she’ll make an excellent edition to the 11th installment to the Mortal Kombat franchise.
