It’s a new year, which means new games are on the horizon, including several that gamers have been eagerly awaiting. The DC Comics fighting game sequel, Injustice 2, was revealed ealier last year, teasing a new story and new fighters joining the roster. Aside from a vague 2017 release window, fans have no idea when they can pit their favorite heroes/villains against each other once more.
The hype for Mass Effect: Andromeda has been working virtually since the credits rolled on Mass Effect 3. The game was originally slated to hit during the 2016 Holiday season, but was pushed back to an unknown date in the first quarter of 2017. Our first story/gameplay trailers arrived within the last coupe months, making fans anxious to get their hands on the great looking RPG.
Today may have given us some official dates to mark on the Calendar. The Xbox Live Rewards page updated with a list of games to pre-order, including Injustice 2 and Mass Effect Andromeda. While this isn’t surprising, the fact that both of them were given release dates has everyone talking. According to the page, Injustice 2 is scheduled to launch on March 28th, with Mass Effect: Andromeda set for March 31st (which isn’t the first time we’ve heard that date rumored for the game).
As of this writing the page is still up and comes from Microsoft, meaning there’s a damn good chance these are the days we’ll finally get to play the games. Officially speaking, however, the dates haven’t been confirmed/revealed by the developers. So maybe you shouldn’t highlight those days on your new calendar just yet. Either way, we’ll update as more information is revealed. In the meantime, what do you think of these potential release dates?
