Arguably, one of the best, most underrated games of 2018 was Ubisoft‘s Far Cry 5. The mix of stellar first-person gameplay and a too-close-to-home storyline made it an enthralling experience from start to finish. Helping to make it such a memorable experience was a villain unlike any other, The Father Joseph Seed. In the game, he, along with his followers in Eden’s Gate, forcibly took control of the small Montana county. By the end of the game, the fate of both our main character and Seed were left up in the air, as the world descended into nuclear chaos.
In the first story trailer for Far Cry New Dawn, we see the latest inhabitants siezing control, but it may all be for naught, as The Father Joseph Seed makes his return to take back what was once his and “save” Hopy County once again.
Sh*t just got real. Face off against the ruthless highwaymen and their leaders the Twins as you fight to survive in a dangerous post-apocalyptic frontier. Form unexpected alliances, build a deadly arsenal of makeshift weapons and gear using the remnants of the old world to survive against all new threats.
Far Cry New Dawn releases on PS4, Xbox One and PC on February 15th, 2019.
