Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 Getting Free DLC

THPS5 isn’t being met with positive reviews, to say the least, and you can read ours here. Yet good news seems to be sprouting up for those that did buy the game. The game launched with a whopping 7GB patch (which is larger than the actual game itself) and servers are being sorted out, but now fans get something more.

Activision announced that free DLC is heading to the game. The content will include 5 additional skaters and 2 new parks. Currently the game has 8 parks and 10 skaters.

Many players are complaining of bugs and glitches in the game, but it is unclear if this is a response from Activision or if this free content was already planned. Activision did respond directly to the complaints though by stating they are working close with the developers to improve the games performance and issues, but they did not list a time frame as to when to expect those fixes.

The game is out already on Xbox One and PS4, and PS3 and Xbox 360 will get a slightly stripped down version for $40 in November.
