Just a few short weeks ago, Turtle Beach finally entered the PC market, after spending years developing headset that were primarily for consoles, but with PC compatibility.  The Atlas line, featuring Atlas One, Atlas Three, and Elite Atlas became the first gaming headsets exclusive for PC in Turtle Beach history.  However, they didn’t do it alone.  Using a partnership with elite esports teams like Optic Gaming and the #1 CS:GO team in the world, Astralis, Turtle Beach was able to craft a headset they felt the PC Master Race would flock to.  Now, in order to spread the word and show the world what their PC headsets are capable of, they’re going to Denmark.

To the average gaming enthusiast, Denmark might sound like a strange place to go to sell a line of Gaming Headsets, but it’s actually a genius move.  Next weekend, a vast majority of the esports world will have their eyes on Copenhagen, Denmark for the BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen CS:GO Tournament.  One of the most highly-anticipated esports tournaments will now have Turtle Beach blast on every system, banner, and you guessed it, headset.  That’s because Turtle Beach has become an official partner of BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen, which means we’re likely going to see every esports player using the Elite Atlas, the most powerful of Turtle Beach’s line of PC Gaming Headsets.

“We entered the PC gaming market this year with our all-new Atlas headsets and a plan to support top PC players, teams, and events like BLAST Pro Series,” said Andrew Lilien, VP of Marketing, Turtle Beach. “We’ve already seen some outstanding reviews for the Elite Atlas, in which Astralis played an integral role in designing. We’re excited to work with BLAST Pro Series in Copenhagen and see this as an ideal opportunity to showcase to fans in the arena, and those tuning in from around the world, everything the Elite Atlashas to offer.”
Added Jakob Lund Kristensen, EVP Sales and Co-Founder of RFRSH Entertainment, “We’re thrilled to have Turtle Beach joining us in Copenhagen. The continued growth and popularity of esports globally requires organizations like ours to deliver nothing short of exceptional quality in all aspects of competitive events, and Turtle Beach’s Elite Atlas PC gaming headset delivers the high-quality audio pro players require to find success on the tournament stage.”
This really is a great move for Turtle Beach.  Major Esports tournaments, like BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen, is like catnip for Esports fans.  So what better way to enter the PC marketplace than to go to one of the biggest PC Esports events to show what your product can do over the rest of the field?  Will it generate sales?  Most likely, but the importance of this event isn’t about sales, right now, it’s getting the word out that Turtle Beach is here and we’ve come to dominate the market, once again.

The BLAST Pro Series Copenhagen starts November 2, 2018 and features esports teams NaVi, NiP, FaZe Clan, Cloud9, and MIBR all battling to take down #1 Astralis.
