Hasbro Reveals New Star Wars Toys at Celebration

Hasbro brought some new toys for Star Wars fans to gawk at during this year’s Star Wars Celebration, including all new reveals and exclusives…

Even though they didn’t show off the toys they have planned for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, or any of the included Triple Force Friday stuff, Hasbro still had some neat new figures to show off at their panel during Star Wars Celebration. Some of these were revealed at a previous event (which I haven’t included), but there’s plenty of cool newness for fans/collectors to drool over:

Let’s take a gander at the new Black Series stuff first (which is the main series I collect). These all look amazing and I can’t wait to get my hands on them. I’m specifically interested in/excited about those Galaxy’s Edge exclusive sets if only because I’m a sucker for multi-packs like these that have cool packaging and include all new figures. I’m just hoping that those of us who can’t make it to the new Disney park any time soon, will have the chance to buy these some how.

The new Emperor Palpatine figure has me drooling. I love my villains and considering he’s coming back for The Rise of Luke Skywalker, it’s neat to get this new figure which includes his throne and everything. This one is an Amazon exclusive, which is currently available for pre-order. The Obi-Wan Clone Commander figure will also be an exclusive, which you’ll have to head to Walgreens to pick up.

This Summer will see the next wave of The Black Series Archive collection, which will bring in some of the older original figures from the line and give them the new paint/face scanning tech to make them look better than ever. This time around you’ll get Yoda, Darth Maul, Anakin, and the Scout Trooper (which hasn’t been available individually before).

Then you have some more Vintage Series Collection figures to track down!

On top of these, Hasbro also revealed some of the REALLY cool looking San Diego Comic-Con exclusives they’re bringing to the show this Summer. Thankfully, these will be available at other conventions throughout the year and on HasbroPulse (in limited quantities), so even if you can’t make it to SDCC 2019, you have a shot of picking these up.

Personally, I’m digging the 6-inch Boba Fett figure on the special Empire Strikes Back card. It’s very reminiscent of the 40th Anniversary Black Series set they did for A New Hope, and I’m crossing my figures this is an indication that ESB will get the same treatment.

Which of these new Hasbro toys will you be trying to pick up this year?
