AOC’s New FreeSync Montior Comes to the Amazon Choice Program

If you’re in the market for a new gaming monitor, you may want to check out AOC’s FreeSync that was just selected for the Amazon Choice Program.  It manages to keep in time with your GPS refresh rate and the game’s own framerate, to ensure a smooth veiwing process the entire time.  Sounds pretty nifty, and at only $209, it’s a pretty solid deal.

AOC, a worldwide leader in monitor display technology, today announces that their 24” FreeSync gaming monitor (G2460PF) has been selected for the Amazon Choice program. The exclusive program is designed to take the guesswork out of finding computer products that fit consumers’ needs by recommending one product in each category. The monitor section of the program has three categories for consumers to choose from: home, work and gaming, which features the AOC 24” FreeSync display.

Designed for serious gamers, the display delivers an extra smooth playing experience with FreeSync™, which seamlessly synchronizes the monitor and GPU refresh rates to eliminate tearing, stuttering and input lag. Whether you’re racing around the track or stalking enemies in a first-person shooter game, the Full HD resolution delivers sharp, true-to-life imagery with an ultra-fast 1ms response time and impressive 144Hz refresh rate. Together, these features diminish distractions such as blurring and ghosting that can mean the difference between victory and defeat. The G2460PF is available today at Amazon for $209.

The G2460PF display uses a TN panel and offers the hybrid solution of AOC’s Flicker Free Technology that regulates brightness without flickering, ensuring comfortable viewing. The monitor comes with a four-way adjustable stand (tilt, height, swivel, and orientation), plus VESA mounting provisions and a Kensington Security Lock. The built-in active and passive USB 2.0 hub provides easy-access ports for convenient connection of USB devices. The multimedia-ready HDMI Input enables gamers to connect a secondary device to their monitor with up to 60 Hz. The monitor also comes equipped with Display Port, Dual Link DVI and integrated speakers that offer quality audio without the hassle of connecting external speakers.

The FreeSync monitor hasn’t launched yet, but it is currently up for pre-order over on Amazon.
