Retro Games that Deserve a Reboot: Dune

It's no secret that I'm a fan of real-time strategy games, Frank Herbert's Dune, and retro gaming.  When you put all of these together, you end up with a classic video game series; which has seen no love or glimmer of hope, in over a decade.  It's ashame too, considering many of the RTS tropes we're used to, started with this game franchise.  I think it's high time for this property to get the reboot it so rightly deserves, and today, I'm going to tell you exactly why. 

Paramount no longer developing a Dune remake

Consider my heart officially broken.  Paramount has announced that they are no longer working on a remake to the Dune movie, which is of course based off of Frank Herbert's masterful book of the same name.
