Nintendo was on hand at this year's VGX and while their announcement wasn't a brand new game as many had hoped, it's still kind of exciting for those fans of Donkey Kong Country and old-school style platformers. On top of giving the new game, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, an official release date they also announced a brand new playable character in Cranky Kong!
Today, Capcom confirmed that the latest game in the successful Pheonix Wright franchise is finally making it's way into North America in October. The game will be available as a download only title through the eShop, but will also include the game's DLC (currently available in Japan). Come inside to see when you'll be back in the courtroom!

[A few more details on the game have been revealed] Earlier today, EA and Maxis announced that they are currently working on the next big iteration in the popular The Sims franchise. Details are somewhat scarce right now, but the game is coming to PCs and Macs sometime in 2014.
E3 has long been one of the largest events for the video game industry, and is typically used as a showcase for the largest game companies to show off what's coming up in the future. The 'big three' as they're called (Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft) generally use massive press conferences to kick things off, much to the delight of fans all over. This year, however, Nintendo won't be doing it. They're skipping out on the big conference, but that's not as bad as it may sound.
The LEGO franchise of games has taken us to amazing trips through various licensed properties. Yet even though we had LEGO playsets of Marvel characters, people didn't think a LEGO Marvel game would ever happen, seeing as how Warner Bros. is a parent company to TT Games. Well, guess what? Distressing news came earlier this week that it appeared as though the upcoming DLC for the incredible Scott Pilgrim vs. the World video game (which would add in multi-player options) was canned. Bryan O'Malley, creator of all things Scott Pilgrim, has responded to those claims, saying they simply aren't true.
