In the wake of the botched launch of the Halo Master Chief Collection’s multiplayer, the Head of 343 Industries Bonnie Ross released an open letter on Xbox's official website on December 19th. She states that anyone who has purchased and played the Master Chief Collection from launch through December 19th will be receiving quite a few thank you gifts for sticking with them through the last month of weekly content updates and adjustments.

I’m a toy collector and I spend a lot of money on collecting toys. Normally I keep toys in their boxes for collection sake, but I of course open some of the cool ones I never want to sell. I also have had plenty of toys from growing up and all these years of finding already opened toys at garage sales etc… That being said, when we were contacted about “build it yourself” toys, I was super excited to see what this was.
There was a lot of Microsoft news going on lately, but a lot of their projects survived. One of those projects was Halo: Nightfall, a live action VOD style series that is planned to hit Xbox Live. The series is looking so good that Microsoft is even in talks to possibly bring the series to a paid cable network soon!
