Nintendo’s E3 Direct Video Will be on June 11th

While Nintendo won't be having a typical press conference at this year's E3, that's doesn't mean they're sitting on their hands either.

This morning, Nintendo held another Nintendo Direct video in which they talked about new games for the 3DS and the Wii U, including new details and release dates for some of the companies most anticipated titles.  They also discussed a little more of their E3 plans, which inlcude letting gamers across the county (at select Best Buy's) to play their unreleased games. 

Nintendo Lands Exclusive Deal for Sega’s Upcoming Sonic Games

A slew of new information came out today in Nintendo's latest Direct Video, but one of the larger announcements was that they have made an exlcusive deal with Sega for the next 3 Sonic the Hedgehog games, starting with Sonic Lost World.  Come inside for details on the deal as well as the list of Game Gear games that are coming to the 3DS Virtual Console. 

Nintendo Skipping on Big Conference at This Year’s E3

E3 has long been one of the largest events for the video game industry, and is typically used as a showcase for the largest game companies to show off what's coming up in the future.  The 'big three' as they're called (Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft) generally use massive press conferences to kick things off, much to the delight of fans all over.  This year, however, Nintendo won't be doing it.  They're skipping out on the big conference, but that's not as bad as it may sound.

Mother 3 Fan Translator Offers Up Code to Nintendo for Free

Now that Nintendo has announced (much to fan delight) that Earthbound is coming to the Wii U's Virtual Console and that they haven't forgotten about the franchise's existence, attention has once again turned to the game's sequel (Mother 3) which never made it to the States, despite fan outcry for it.  Now the man who made the english translation for the Mother 3 ROM is offering up his localization files completely free in the hopes of Nintendo giving fans what they want.

Nintendo Brings the Year of Luigi; Announces New Wii U and...

Early this morning Nintendo held another Direct Video in which they announced the "Year of Luigi" by announcing new games for the 3DS and Wii U, including: a new Mario & Luigi RPG, sequels to the sports spin-offs, new DLC for current games.  On top of that, they announced other non-Mario/Luigi related content, like Animal Crossing and Donkey Kong for the 3DS.  All the details inside!
