The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 Official Trailer

It's coming folks. The end is near for The Hunger Games series and a very successful franchise. 3 year, 4 films and the ride is going to be over. While all things must end let's enjoy the beginning of that end with the first trailer for The Hunger Games: Mociking Jay Part 2.

Movie Review: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1

Although it’s been done before several times now, I can only imagine how hard it must be to decide exactly where to split a book in half to make it two or more movies. Most novels have a beginning, middle, climax, and an end. What can a filmmaker do to leave audiences feeling satisfied when there’s no big payoff or conclusion to what they’re taking in? Here is where the problem lies for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1.

Katniss is Ready for Battle in New The Hunger Games: Mockingjay...

Lionsgate have released an all new poster for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1 (still a mouthful of a title).  While we've seen some other character posters for the various rebels in the film, this one puts the spotlight squarely on Jennifer Lawrence's Katniss...and she looks ready to kick all kinds of ass.  Come inside to check out the all new poster!

President Snow has a Chilling Message From the Capitol

The third Hunger Games film (Part 1 of Mockingjay) is slated to hit this year, and aside from a teaser poster and some initial images, we haven't seen much from this film.  That doesn't mean, the marketing department is resting, more like biding their time.  While today's "trailer" doesn't really show any footage from the upcoming film, it's pretty great to watch nonetheless.  Come inside to see Donald Sutherland threaten you.

What will happen with the red-hot Hunger Games franchise now that Phillip Seymour Hoffman—whose character will play a major role in the Mockingjay sequels—has died? How will Lionsgate handle the absence of Hoffman?  They've talked about it, and here's what they plan on doing.

New Images From Catching Fire

The trailer for The Hunger Games sequel has been available to view starting in July, but precious little additional information about the hotly-anticipated film has emerged since then. Today that changes as we get a little bit more with a few new photos.

Lionsgate Casts Natalie Dormer as Cressida in The Hunger Gamers: Mockingjay...

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is due out later this year, but with two more sequels planned to wrap up the franchise, things are already in motion on Mockingjay Part 1 and 2.  The first real bit of news fans will be interested in, is that they've cast the role of Cressida (who's tasked with following Katniss around in order to film her exploits).  Come inside to check out the information we have!

Movie Review: Red Dawn (2012)

Remaking beloved classic films is a dangerous job for directors and studios. Many times they find themselves treading on what is considered hallowed ground. The latest trend in revisiting old material is to take a concept from an old movie and loosely use it as the framework for something new yet familiar. A good example of this approach working is Fright Night. We can now add Red Dawn to the list of successful updates.

Lionsgate Sets Francis Lawrence to Direct the Rest of The Hunger...

Looks like Lionsgate isn't taking any chances on losing another director for their Hunger Games franchise.  After having to search for a replacement after Gary Ross wouldn't come back for Catching Fire, the studio has gone ahead and hired Francis Lawrence (currently helming the sequel) for the last pair of movies in the franchise, Mockingjay Part 1 & 2.
