Slowly but surely, the cast of Jon Favreau's live-action Star Wars TV series is coming into focus with Nick Nolte now joining the crew of The Mandalorian. Come inside for all the details!
Over the last couple months, Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard, Dave Filoni, and Taika Waititi have been hard at work developing the first live-action Star Wars TV series, The Mandalorian...But so far, we still know very little about it and despite having been filming for all this time, only know of a couple cast members. Today, we get another.
The Wrap reports that Nick Nolte has joined The Mandalorian, along with Pedro Pascal and Gina Carano (MakingStarWars has also reported that Carl Weathers is part of the show as well). Nick Nolte's grizzled demeanor seems like a good fit for the western/outlaw vibe of the show, but like all things related to the new series, we know nothing about the character he'll be playing. We'll just have to wait for more details on his character, but it's cool to see another veteran actor joining the Star Wars galaxy.
The Mandalorian will debut on Disney+ sometime in 2019.
